In the Baltic Sea, Polish border guards detained a Russian ship that nearly rammed the beach. The cargo ship deviated from the course and, not responding to radio requests from the Polish coastal service, headed towards the beach. On Saturday, December 4, reports Polish radio.
“The border guards disembarked on board the Russian ship and found that the captain of the ship had 2 ppm of alcohol in his blood, and two officers had 1.5 ppm each,” the message says.
Now the Russian dry cargo ship is in the roadstead, and the workers of the Polish border service are engaged in its registration.
It is noted that this vessel, which has 120 meters in length and more than 7 meters of draft, transported steel structures from Klaipeda to the Northern Port of Gdansk.
