MOJOKERTO, KOMPAS.TV – A student with the initials NWR (23) was found dead at a local cemetery in Sugihan Hamlet, Japan Village, Sooko District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, Thursday (2/12/2021) at around 15.30 WIB.
It is suspected that the student died after being desperate to end his life by drinking poison.
Prior to the incident, the caretaker of the Dusun Sugihan tomb, Sugito (60) admitted that he had seen NWR riding a motorcycle to the cemetery area.
But when Sugito was cleaning the cemetery, he saw NWR already lying on the grave of his father who died 100 days ago.
“I saw him (NWR) was on his back and it was dead,” he said, Friday (12/3/2021), quoted from Tribunnews.com.
The student’s body was lying on the ground when it was found. Sugito also found a bottle containing reddish and brown water which was suspected to be poison near the NWR.
“There is a bottle still has the contents and a plastic straw, the smell is strong,” explained Sugito.
