The setting for the next BioShock may have been revealed. The alleged details were shared by journalist Colin Moriarty during a video by Sacred Symbols (currently published to paying Patreon subscribers via VGC).
According to Moriarty’s sources, BioShock 4 will take place during the 1960s in a fictional town in Antarctica. Narratively, the game will be linked to the games BioShock previous years, the journalist said, and developer Cloud Chamber plans to release it in 2022.
“It takes place in a 1960s Antarctic city called Borealis,” Moriarty said. “[O jogo] is code-named ‘Parkside’…”. He added: “Internally the game is very secret and apparently totally blocked. Apparently, the tendency is for them to understand very well that this game will be compared to what [o criador de BioShock] Ken Levine did. And by the way, [a Take-Two] is also publishing Levine’s next game.”
