An unusual event occurred in a funeral in Ecuador when a group of young people took a body out of a coffin to ride him on a motorcycle as a way of saying goodbye to the deceased.
The incident occurred on November 29 in Portoviejo, capital of the Manabí province, in Ecuador.
As recorded in the videos broadcast on social networks, friends and family of Erick cedenoAs the victim was identified, they carried the young man’s coffin to bury him in the cemetery.
However, along the way they decided to spray the coffin with beer and with other drinks that the assistants were consuming.

In addition, the young man’s friends opened the coffin, took out Cedeño’s body and mounted it on a motorcycle.
The body was placed in the middle of two men who were holding it to give it one last lap on the motorcycle and fire it.
Those present, according to local media, affirmed that it was a last tribute for the deceased young man.

According to the channel ‘Ecuavisa’, Cedeño, 21, was murdered at dawn on Sunday, November 28.
The young man, who apparently had just been released from prison for crimes related to drug trafficking, was on his way to the wake of a relative when he was shot at by some men on a motorcycle.
Although he was taken to hospital, he died of his injuries.

The Portoviejo authorities affirmed that it is the first time that an event like this has occurred in the middle of a funeral in the area.
In addition, according to the Ecuadorian newspaper ‘El Comercio’, the authorities have not initiated an investigation into the incident, because there are no complaints and because the funeral is a private event.
The young people who took the body out of the coffin also stated that they had permission from the relatives of the deceased.
