Paderborn – The previously unvaccinated coach Lukas Kwasniok from the second division soccer club SC Paderborn would give in immediately in the event of a general vaccination requirement, but apparently only then.

«I am a law abiding citizen. In the case of a general compulsory vaccination, I would also get vaccinated, ”said the 40-year-old to the“ Westfalen-Blatt ”.

“So far, everyone in Germany has been free to choose whether or not to be vaccinated. I find it difficult to understand that people keep talking about free decisions, ”said Kwasniok, however. For the coach, who currently has to stand on the field with mouth and nose protection, it is important to prevent damage to his completely vaccinated family or the club, he assured. “I adhere to all given measures to avoid infections,” he said: “I work with my team almost every day, otherwise I live rather cautiously and instead improve my cooking skills in the evening.”

Meanwhile, the new President Thomas Sagel apparently does not want to put any pressure on the trainer regarding an earlier vaccination. «I would like to see every employee in our association vaccinated. I won’t tire of trying to convince people, “he said:” But we live in a democracy. That is a great good and therefore I respect the individual rights of each and every one of us. ”
