IPO Leaks and Rights Issue 6 BUMN 2022, There is Pertamina & SIG

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Next year there will be corporate actions from a number of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). There are at least six SOEs that plan to conduct an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and also a rights issue.

In a meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, Minister of BUMN, Erick Thohir, explained that there are two BUMNs that will conduct an IPO and 4 BUMNs that will carry out corporate actions in the form of rights issues.

“The first is the IPO of Pertamina Geothermal Energy,” explained Erick in a meeting, Thursday (2/12/2021).

In his explanation, Erick said, Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) is the grandson of Pertamina which is engaged in geothermal energy.

It is planned that the PGE IPO will be held in the second quarter of 2022. “This is also to answer the impetus for the formation of a green economy,” said Erick.

Then the second is the IPO of ASDP, which is a BUMN in the field of providing access to inter-island public transportation. “ASDP will conduct an IPO to carry out the company’s investment,” said Erick in his statement.

In addition to the IPO, there are plans for a rights issue of four SOEs as follows:

1. Krakatau Steel
This state-owned steel producer plans to conduct a rights issue at the end of 2022

2. State Savings Bank (BTN)
Through the rights issue, BTN will help BTN in financing home ownership services for the community. Rights issue was conducted to strengthen capital. However, it has not been announced when the rights issue will be held

3. Semen Indonesia Group (GIS)
It is said that the holding of this state-owned cement producer will conduct a rights issue in conjunction with the inbreng of Semen Baturaja (SMBR) shares, which is part of strengthening the company’s business synergy.

4. Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI)
The rights issue will help strengthen BNI’s capital structure. So that it can help move the economy and support the export business.
