Tallink Grupp has published the first interior pictures for its newest ship MyStar, which is currently being built at Rauma Marine Constructions (RMC) shipyard in Rauma, Finland, informs AS Esinkija Zīriņa, a representative of AS Tallink Latvija.
The interior design of the most environmentally friendly LNG or liquefied natural gas vessel MyStar has been developed by the Finnish interior design agency dSign Vertti Kivi & Co.
Commenting on the publication of MyStar interior images to a wider audience, Tallet Grupp board member Piret Mürk-Dubout said:

Compared to the current flagship of Tallink’s fleet Megastar, new public areas will be available on board MyStar.
The flow of customers on board, the embarkation and disembarkation of passengers is designed to make the process even smoother and more ergonomic. Special public areas and solutions have been created for passengers traveling with families, shopping enthusiasts, business and leisure travelers.
Each area on board is unique and designed to create a special feel in terms of color, lighting and surface materials.
“We have chosen the beauty of the Baltic Sea as the main theme of the ship’s interior design – a story told using exclusive underwater video and photo compilations. Each public area on the ship reflects its unique character and atmosphere, created using different contrasting surface materials, new colors “dSign Vertti Kivi & Co ‘s chief designer and CEO, Vertti Kivi.
The heart of the ship, of course, is the Traveler Superstore, whose design and use message cares about every customer, as well as the atmosphere of a luxury store. A new open station will be built in the center of the supermarket, where samples of goods will be available. The in-store shopping will provide a variety of specialties, including the Nordic Corner, which showcases local products and designer goods.
Using a variety of visual elements and themes, the interior design demonstrates the beauty of the Baltic Sea and invites every traveler to notice and cherish the uniqueness of the Baltic Sea, to protect its environment and cultural heritage.
The completion of Tallink’s newest high-speed vessel is scheduled for spring 2022, when MyStar will start operating between Tallinn and Helsinki. Together with Tallink’s second high-speed vessel Megastar, they will form the most sustainable transport connection between Estonia and Finland from 2022 onwards.
