The Ghent actor and director Jo Decaluwe passed away on Wednesday evening after a long illness. Decaluwe was 79 and will be remembered above all as the inspiring force of the Arca and Tinnenpot theatres. “Two to three generations of actors have stood on his shoulders. Jo was a great gentleman.”
