On Tuesday, November 30, the Atlanta Hawks announced their next special collaboration with Waka Flocka Flame on HIDDEN, their new line of streetwear. The collection will feature neutral-colored t-shirts, fleece collars and joggers, all featuring the Hawks logo. ” I’m excited to bring SKRIT to my hometown of Atlanta with one of the NBA’s most iconic teams, ” Waka Flocka said in a statement. “SKRIT doesn’t have a creative cap, and I consider this to be one of the most potentially profitable investments I’ve made in a long time. ” Waka Flocka plans to celebrate this new collaboration on December 3 with a special performance, during the Hawks game against the Philadelphia 76ers. After the match, Waka will set up a meeting in the main Hawks store with fans who have purchased items from the collection.
With this new step, Waka Flocka joins several rappers who weigh their presence in the NBA. Big Sean is announced as the new Creative Director of the Detroit Pistons.
