KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) resumed its correction in early December 2021 trading. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, Wednesday (1/12) the JCI slumped 26.25 points or 0.40% to 6,507,677 at the close of trading.

Nine of the 11 sectors on the IDX closed in the red. The technology sector fell the most by 1.80%. Then the property and real estate sector also corrected 1.57%. The health sector fell by 1.14%, the non-primary consumer goods sector fell by 0.77% and the financial sector fell 0.69%.

In addition, the infrastructure sector was also depressed by 0.50%, the transportation sector fell 0.43%, the primary consumer goods sector fell 0.34% and the raw goods sector fell 0.05%. Only the industrial and energy sectors rose by 0.57% and 0.13%, respectively.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Wednesday reached 27.39 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 16.39 trillion. There were 371 stocks that fell, 174 stocks that rose and 122 stocks that were flat.

Foreign investors noted net sell amounting to Rp 621.64 billion in all markets. But welcome window dressing, foreigners also collect the following stocks.

Shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) mostly bought up by foreigners amounting to RP 101.5 billion. TLKM shares also rose 2.26% to Rp 4,080 per share. The total trading volume of TLKM shares reached 223.85 million with a total transaction value of Rp 918.4 billion.

Foreign investors also noted net buy largest share in PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) of Rp 72.2 billion. ICBP’s shares shot up 5.62% to Rp 8,925 per share. The total trading volume of ICBP shares reached 15.59 million with a total transaction value of 138.2 billion.

Foreigners also bought up the shares of PT Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk (BALI) of Rp 71.5 billion. BALI shares fell slightly 0.55% to Rp 905 per share. The total trading volume of BALI shares reached 69.96 million with a total transaction value of Rp 72.7 billion.
