Eva Kristin Hansen got a commuter home because she said she lived in Trondheim. At the same time, she demanded a refund for travel home to Ski.

Eva Kristin Hansen did not inform the Storting about the house she owned in Ski. But she sent 21 travel invoices which showed that she partly lived there.

The jubilation was repeated several times during the election vigil in 2015. Four out of ten voters in Trondheim had given their vote to the Labor Party.

Among the politicians who cheered was Eva Kristin Hansen. Trønderen had flown up from Oslo the same day.

The election vigil was held at the Royal Garden Hotel, located right by the Nidelva. Across the bridge and a few blocks away is Rosenborg.

There was Eva Kristin Hansen’s dormitory. She had stated it to the Storting as her home. It was this dormitory that made it possible for her to demand a commuter home in Oslo. But Hansen did not spend the night in the dormitory or in the commuter home that night.

Instead, she billed the Storting for one night at the Radisson Blu Royal Garden Hotel. It is located 700 meters as the crow flies.

The next day she landed at Gardermoen and got on a bus.

The bus went to a station in Ski, a few hundred meters from the house Hansen owned with her husband.

After a day away, Hansen was back in a semi-detached house the Storting did not know about.

Aftenposten can now reveal that Hansen has traveled between Ski and Trondheim a number of times at the Storting’s expense.

The travels took place during a period where Hansen stated that she lived in Trondheim. As a result, the Storting gave her a commuter home in Oslo worth at least NOK 380,000.
