Gordon is all over the place. The SBS 6 presenter wanted to fly back to his new hometown of Dubai today, but was refused by both KLM and Emirates. “Utterly ridiculous!”
After a holiday in South Africa, Gordon returned to the Netherlands in the middle of last week. Health Minister Hugo de Jonge called on him and other travelers from southern Africa to to go into quarantine, but Gordon didn’t stick to that. He appeared in the live final of K2 Search K3 on Saturday and had recordings for a music quiz on SBS 6 on Sunday.
Sweating Gordon
Actually, everyone assumed that SBS 6 was the presenter would keep from the K2 Looking for the K3 final due to concerns about the omikron variant of the coronavirus, but nothing could be further from the truth. He was just making an appearance. The viewers were in shock because he sweating a lot during the live broadcast and also a cold sounded.
Gordon himself blamed his warm jacket and reacted to Shownieuws with a laugh when asked if he could still return to Dubai. The emirate is refusing people who have been in South Africa in the past fourteen days. With a smile, Gordon indicated that he is now a resident of Dubai and can therefore simply go home.
Denied on board
Well, Gordon just came home from a rough patch. “Good then. Despite extensive testing, it did not come along on both Emirates and KLM to Dubai. Still in the rain for another week,” he grumbles. “Absolutely ridiculous that panic with this k°t virus! Make it cozy at home! The world has gone mad really!!!”
Two weeks ago, Gordon praised Dubai’s corona policy. “In the UAE (which includes Dubai, ed.) there are fewer than 75 infections per day. In the Netherlands, 15 percent or more fools (unvaccinated, ed.) help the economy to hell! I’m done with those people!” he wrote then.

Many people are now laughing at Gordon on social media. They also find him spoiled. “Now has the world gone mad? Because it hits you once? Everyone had to sting, according to you, right?” Angel responds.
And Alice: “So because you can’t go to Dubai, the world is crazy?????”
Geertje: “And you say that as a vulnerable chronically ill person? Wow.”
Astrid: “It’s Dubai who says he can’t come for 14 days because he’s been to South Africa, no one else. You make that choice when you move to another country. Their country, their rules.”
Tonny: “Yes, too bad, we are also in the rain and no view of Dubai at all, vaccinated and all. How sad is that?”
