The era of foldable phones has been around for some time and it is no longer a secret that every major manufacturer is working on its own foldable phone. Among the best known we have Samsung and Huawei, each already with two or three generations of foldable smartphones with a form factor that transforms the ordinary phone into a tablet.
OPPO is the newest brand that is ready for a launch of a foldable device, and the constant leakers about this launch show that a launch is imminent and we may soon see the new OPPO foldable phone. Now, the renowned Chinese informant Digital Chat Station confirms some of the specifications.
It seems that the OPPO foldable smartphone will adopt a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Fold line, with the external screen at 60 Hz, with a punch hole centered for a selfie camera and a slightly curved panel. The main screen will use the same design for the selfie camera and will have a refresh rate at 120 Hz. However, the perforated hole will be placed in the upper left corner. The fingerprint reader will be placed in the Power button on the side.
The leak also details some of the camera’s specifications. The front camera, the one on the outside screen, will have a 32-megapixel sensor, while on the back will be a three-camera module with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and the design of the camera block suggests a look similar to the encountered in the Reno6 series.
