250/250 Mbps, 500/500 Mbps and 1000/500 Mbps. These are the three new tariffs for optical lines that CETIN will start offering its wholesale partners from March 1, 2022. The company announced this in a press release.
A novelty is a significant increase in upload capacity. In its current wholesale offer, CETIN offers 25 Mb / s upload for 250Mb / s, 50 Mb / s upload for 500Mb / s tariff and 100 Mb / s for gigabit connection.
“Those interested in these new tariffs can obtain them from providers who take advantage of the event, but the acceleration is not automatic and depends on the providers’ offer,” the company adds.
CETIN has also published prices at which it will offer optical tariffs to partners. From March 2022 to February 2023 they will be available for special wholesale prices (PDF).
Other tariffs currently offered at lower speeds are not affected by the change. CETIN plans to reduce optical tariffs below 250 Mb / s in the future, the company added when asked by Lupy.
CETIN continues to expand its optical network, this year it plans to cover 135,000 households with FTTH connections. In Prague already in some locations, it stopped offering DSL connections and replaced it with optics.
