Petra Vlhová will skip the upcoming three events. He will not attend the next weekend of downhill and super-G in Lake Louise, Canada; Moritz and the spectators will not even see her 18th and 19th in the French Val d’Isere in the downhill and super-G.
It fulfills the pre-announced that it will focus mainly on technical disciplines and the Olympic Games and not on the defense of the big globe. “The main goal is the Olympic Games. We will not focus on the big globe. Of course, when we are in the game after the Olympics, we will fight. But now we only focus on slalom and ‘giant’, ” she said after the slaughter in Killington.
Vlhová has so far won one giant slalom and three slaloms in the season. At the beginning of the year, she finished third in the ‘cloud’ in Sölden. Then she missed, like several skiers, the parallel race in Lech. In the opening weekend of the slalom season in Levi, Finland, she reigned again, following two triumphs from last year, winning this time on Saturday and Sunday as well.
The skiers subsequently moved overseas, but canceled the huge slalom in Killington, USA, after nine racers left due to bad weather. The next day in slalom, Vlhová took second place.
