Hertha Berlin, who had bad days in the Bundesliga, announced that Tayfun Korkut was appointed while Pal Dardai was dismissed.
Pal Dardai coached the German team between 2015-19, then took over the A team again at the beginning of this season, while continuing his duty in a different role.
Signing a contract with Tayfun Korkut, Hertha appointed the 47-year-old Turkish coach until the end of the season.

Tayfun Korkut, who started coaching in Sociedad, Hoffenheim and Stuttgart infrastructures after leaving football, later served as Abdullah Avcı’s assistant in the A National Team.
Tayfun Korkut started his coaching career in Hannover 96 in 2014 and later coached Kaiserslautern, Leverkusen and Stuttgart.
Tayfun Korkut did not coach any team after leaving Stuttgart in October 2018.
