Xiaomi 12 so it’s one of the phones whose launch is anticipated at the end of this year. The latest news mentions that the launch of this new cellphone from Xiaomi will be postponed to the end of December 2021.
Xiaomi previously reportedly will hold an event in China on December 12 to announce the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X. But the latest information says this launch will be postponed to December 28.
This new date was discovered via screenshots of Xiaomi’s internal documents that appeared on Weibo. The document suggests Xiaomi will hold a press conference on December 28 to launch new products, which are likely to be the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X.
The Tipster Digital Chat Station also previously held a product launch event at the end of December. He also said that the Xiaomi 12 would not be the first phone to carry the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset.
This indicates the Moto Edge X will be unveiled first before Xiaomi 12 and became the first mobile phone to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, as quoted from Gizmochina, Monday (11/29/2021).
Previous leaks mentioned that the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12X will have curved screen designs with AMOLED panels, FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi 12X is expected to have a 6.28-inch screen.
If Xiaomi 12 using the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, the Xiaomi 12X will carry the Snapdragon 870. Both will likely have a 50 MP camera on the back.
Xiaomi 12X is predicted to be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery and 65W fast charging. Meanwhile the Xiaomi 12 will support 100W fast charging.
