KNMI warns of slippery roads in the country. Several accidents have already happened last evening, especially in the The Hague region. Until tomorrow morning 08.00, code yellow applies everywhere, with the exception of the Wadden Islands.
It can be slippery in the southwest due to snow and hail, the KNMI reports. In other parts of the country, wet roads can freeze and become slippery. Many gritters have been used to prevent the worst slipperiness.
Omroep West reports several accidents in the region. In Honselersdijk, a car ended up in a ditch during a hailstorm. The driver was able to save himself. Two cars collided with each other on the A20 near Maasland and a car ended up in the crash barrier on the A4 near Prins Clausplein.
