Prince Harry has won his battle against the BBC. He thought ‘Megxit’ was a sexist term and denounced it, forcing the British public broadcaster to drop it in a documentary and replace it with ‘Sussexit’.

The BBC will air the second episode of the documentary on Monday The princess and the press about the troubled relationship between Meghan Markle and the British media. That second episode was titled Megxit and was supposed to be about the departure of the British royals to the US, but that title is changed to Sussexit.
That is the result of recent statements by Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s husband. “Few people know this,” Prince Harry said at the time. “But the term Megxit is sexist and misogynistic and was invented by a troll on the internet. Then it was fueled by journalists and spread further and further.”
The makers of the documentary have therefore decided to change the title.
