Kapp’n is finally in Animal Crossing: New Horizons arrived!

Every Kapp’n boat trip takes you to a Island in the middle of the ocean where you might find something that doesn’t grow on your island, plus more surprises.

Kapp’n’s boat trips location and price in Animal Crossing: New Horizons explained
To take a Kapp’n boat trip in New Horizons, head to the wharf on either the western or eastern shore of your island.
It’s important to remember that we’re not talking about the dock attached to Dodo Airlines, where you can catch fish like blue marlin of tuna catches.
Each trip with Kapp’n will cost you 1,000 Nook Miles, but he will sing you a sailor’s song so it’s well worth the money. However, Kapp’n only makes one trip a day, so make sure you get everything out.
Before you take the plunge, we recommend that you only have your tools in your inventory. This is because you might find rare items on the island and it would be a shame if you can’t take it back because your pockets are full.
When you’re on the boat you can sit back and listen to Kapp’n’s singing skills or, if you feel like it, clap along by pressing A.
Remember, you can only use Kapp’n’s boat trips if you have the Ver.2.0 patch for New Horizons download. You also need a island rating of 3 stars to have. In addition, KK Slider visited your island.
Islands in Kapp’ns boat trips in Animal Crossing: New Horizons explained
The islands that Kapp’n takes you to are randomly selected, so you never know exactly where you’ll end up. The weather can change while sailing. For example, you can suddenly see cherry blossoms in the sky, which gives you a hint as to what you can find on the island.
Both the seasons and the time of day can be different than on your island, so expect midnight snow storms or the height of summer. Anyway, now is the perfect time to insects, fishing to catch, or seasonal items like snowflakes to collect.

The island where Kapp’n takes you also has different flora, such as climbing vines that you won’t find on your own island. You might even find rare ones flowers that you cannot grow on your island. It is wise to take them home when you see them!
On the beach you will find a bottle with how-it-yourself planning or, if you’ve unlocked cooking, a cooking recipe. If there is seasonal weather on the island, such as cherry blossom, the DIY plans may just be for those seasonal items, which is great if you missed out on one.
These islands are also where you pieces of Gyroid and maybe even find a fully grown Gyroid so if you see a place to dig, by all means do it! You might even come Brewster against those looking for Gyroids.

When you’re on the island Kapp’n will act just like Wilbur when you’re doing a mystery tour – he will offer to sell you tools if you need it and when you are done it will take you back to your own island. There is also a workbench on each island so you can also make your own tools if you prefer.
Finally, you will also get a new card in your Nook Miles+ app.Finally, traveling with Kapp’n will unlock a new card in your Nook Miles+ app – Sea shanties and seamen. This keeps track of how often you have sailed with Kapp’n and rewards you with extra Nook-miles if you have visited a certain number of islands.
