Jakarta, Selular.ID – The spam blocker app Truecaller introduces Version 12 which is specially designed with a focus on users as well as additional features that the community wants.
This application still includes all communication features such as Call Alerts, Call Reason, Full Screen Caller ID, and advanced features for managing messages such as Smart SMS, SMS data backup and secure contact numbers, and can be accessed in 46 languages.
With additional features, users can now get a new experience with Video Caller ID, updated user interface, Call Recording, Ghost call and Call Announce. All these new features will be rolled out gradually to all Android users in all countries.

New features available in Truecaller Version 12 include:
Video Caller ID
This feature allows users to enable short videos that play automatically when calling friends and family. Users can choose from available video templates or be creative with their own recorded videos. With this feature, users will experience a more personal and unique calling experience. This feature is available to all Truecaller users on Android devices.
Streamlined New Interface
Thanks to user feedback over the past year, Truecaller decided to introduce separate tabs for phone calls and SMS. With more than 150 million people currently using Truecaller for texting, this change is urgently needed. Through separate tabs, users can now access all SMS, Truecaller Group Chats and individual chats with just one tap.
Call Recording
Your request is now available! Call Recording was originally introduced as a Premium only feature, but is now back and available to everyone with an Android 5.1 or later device. With Call Recording you can record incoming and outgoing calls on your device, regardless of whether your device already has a recording feature or not. You can listen to or delete recordings with Truecaller or use file search. Recordings can be easily shared using email, Bluetooth or other messaging services. This is an optional feature and you can start recording with one tap on Full Screen or Pop Up Caller ID after completing setup.
Ghost Call
Ghost call is a clever trick to help Truecaller users get out of uncomfortable situations or play harmless pranks on friends. With Ghost Call, you can set a name, number and photo to appear as if you were receiving a call from that person. If you want, you can also select the contacts you have in your phone. You can also schedule when you want to receive Ghost Calls. Ghost Call is only available for Premium and Gold subscribers.
Call Announce
If you enable this new optional feature, Truecaller will speak aloud the caller ID of incoming calls. This works for saved contacts as well as for numbers identified by Truecaller on normal voice calls and Truecaller HD Voice calls. It will be very useful to know who is calling without looking at the screen. If you wish, this feature can also be activated while using headphones. Like Ghost Call, Call Announce is only available to Premium and Gold subscribers.
