Sometimes manufacturers have a good nose, but are simply too much ahead of their time with their ideas. The result: the product that should have revolutionized its market and attracted masses of buyers ends up being slow-moving. Something like that happened to Nintendo in 1995 when the Japanese game company brought the “Virtual Boy” onto the market.
