An observant Marvel fan is convinced that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man can be seen on a promotional flyer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. If true, this would be the first official footage of the return of one of the longtime Spidey actors.
The flyer is part of a so-called Barkbox, a monthly package that is full of animal toys and other knick-knacks. We only see a small part of the Maguire Spidey and the picture is black and white, but the web pattern on his head does indeed match this version.
Differences in costumes
Maguire’s costume was distinctly different from Tom Holland. For example, the web material is not incorporated in the fabric, but lies ‘on top’ and the black alignment around the white eyes is narrower.
Holland returns again as Spidey in the film, and is joined by Doctor Strange(Benedict Cumberbatch). Together they have to compete against at least Electro (Jamie Foxx), but it seems that we can expect a large amount of villains (including Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus).
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be in Dutch cinemas from December 16.
