Every year, athletes from all walks of life participate in the “Movember” campaign, but perhaps the most visible are hockey players. Even during this November, which is the month of the fight against prostate cancer, mustaches were raised to draw attention to this insidious disease.
Every year the number of patients with this disease increases and Slovakia is no exception. It is important to emphasize that up to 90% of cases are treatable if detected in time. The first step to the rescue is preventive inspections, the site informs kidney.
Why Movember? It is a common combination of two words – the month of NoVEMBER and the English word Mustache (mustache).
