The music and congress hall will once again be used as a vaccination center

Lübeck vaccination center starts in the MuK

With four vaccination lines, Lübeck will open Schleswig-Holstein’s largest vaccination center in the Music Congress Hall on Monday, November 29th. From Monday to Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m., free corona vaccinations as first, second or booster vaccinations, so-called booster vaccinations, are carried out exclusively after booking in advance.

Appointments can be booked online at www.impfen-sh.de. Telephone bookings at the vaccination centers are not possible! If you do not have internet access, you are asked to get help from neighbors, family or friends, for example, or alternatively to make an appointment with your family doctor. Questions about corona vaccinations will be answered on 0800 – 455 655 0.

Dates can be booked

Dates will initially be bookable up to and including February 2022. Only single appointments can be booked. · Appointments for booster vaccinations can only be booked by Thursday, December 2nd, by people who are 60 years of age or older. Appointments for booster vaccinations will only be activated for all persons from Friday, December 3rd. In the case of a booster vaccination, the interval between the booked appointment and the primary vaccination must be at least six months. If all the dates have been taken, there will be a registration option, just like in summer. Registered people will then automatically receive an appointment as soon as it is available. Nobody has to call up the page repeatedly at short intervals – either you book your desired date directly, or – in the event that there are initially no free appointments available – you register once and are assigned an appointment if available.

Planned process

The Lübeck vaccination center in the MuK will be set up on the 2nd floor of the building. Access is via the stairs on the water side, on the side of the MuK facing the old town. People with reduced mobility can use the elevator, which is also accessible from the waterfront. Those wishing to be vaccinated are guided to the vaccination center via a signposting system; they are asked to follow the signs. Current information on the vaccination center is available online at www.luebeck.de/impfstelle.

Vaccinations in the vaccination center are mainly carried out with the vaccine from Moderna. Booster vaccinations are carried out following the recommendations of the Standing Vaccination Commission (STIKO), for under 30-year-olds with the vaccine from Biontech.
