NBA: OG Anunoby remains an uncertain case for the end of the Raptors’ journey

The Toronto Raptors are set to wrap up a six-game trip Friday night to Indiana.

The Raptors were first beaten in Portland and Utah. They subsequently prevailed in Sacramento, lost to Golden State and won in Memphis.

They are 9-10 and are 12th in the East, one row ahead of the Pacers (8-12).

The Raptors have beaten the Pacers twice in four days in a five-game winning streak, starting October 27.

Playing at home on Wednesday, Indiana was beaten in overtime by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bored in the left hip, OG Anunoby is an uncertain case ahead of Friday’s meeting. He missed his last four games. Anunoby leads the Raptors with 20.1 points per game, on average.

Inconvenient with his right knee, Montrealer Khem Birch will miss a second game in a row. The same injury caused him to miss three games earlier in November.

Myles Turner of the Pacers is the NBA point guard with three blocks per game, on average.

His teammate Domantas Sabonis is seventh on the circuit for rebounds, with 11.2. He is also in the elite of the NBA to make screens that lead to baskets.

Indiana is 6.8 blocks per game, a league-high.

Gary Trent Jr. of the Raptors is third in the league with 2.1 steals per game. Toronto also dominates the NBA with 9.9 flights per match.

Scottie Barnes of the Raptors leads the NBA rookies in points (14.8 per game), rebounds (8.4) and minutes (35.1).

On Sunday night, the Canadian squad will play at home against the Boston Celtics. It will be the start of a seven-game home streak.
