At the latest meeting of the municipal council, Mayor Lioba Zieres addressed the poor result of the new bus schedule for Obersinn. The talks that had been held with the district administration for two years about improvements to public transport in the Oberen Sinngrund were always postponed with a view to the new tendering of the line. However, an unacceptable deterioration now occurred.
Not only was the second stop “Sinnsteg” deleted, the school buses from Burgsinn, in which normal passengers are also allowed to ride, end in the middle of the afternoon and a hold service has to be organized, the planners also have the Jossa interface for onward travel to Bad Brückenau or Schlüchtern completely cut off. To top it off, the railway now canceled the first train in the direction of Würzburg, which took commuters to their workplaces at 4:44 a.m. departure Obersinn. “The switch to public transport advocated by politics is a farce,” said Zieres.
Behavior of the district office called cheek
Deputy Mayor Oskar Weber also described the behavior of the district office as cheek. Mayor Zieres, on the other hand, vehemently advocated “sticking with it”.
New fees included in the dog tax statute
In the June meeting, after 28 years, the local council adjusted the dog tax to EUR 40 per year and to EUR 500 for attack dogs. In order to maintain legal certainty, the committee has now included the new rates in the dog tax statute.
The council approved the building application for the extension of the existing house in the main street 88a and the motorsport fans “Sinngrund und Umgebung” are allowed to use the communal lot on their cross-route. The resident is allowed to drive to his property.
No all-clear for P 43 yet
Lioba Zieres announced that the network operator Tennet has now submitted the expansion for the P 43 project, the 380 kV AC line, which connects the Mecklar and Dipperz substations in Hesse with the Bergrheinfeld substation for additional transport capacities between northern and southern Germany. The expansion corridor between the three selected variants has not yet been finally determined. “A possible route through the Sinngrund has not yet been deleted, there is still no all-clear”.
Residents of Sinnstraße complain about the increasing heavy goods traffic, partly with low loaders, on the local road to Mittelinn. Neither the bridge over the Mühlgraben nor the road used as a cycle path was developed for such a purpose. Zieres would like to find out more about a tonnage restriction.
New youth carer Daniela Frischmuth introduces herself
Daniela Frischmuth, the new youth carer who has been active since September, introduced herself to the local council. Markt Obersinn has entrusted the JUZ with the Vocational Training Center (BfZ) Lohr. The offer remains the same with the opening times on Wednesdays and Fridays with four hours each, which between ten and 15 children and young people take advantage of.
At the start, the team gave the premises a new coat of paint. The Halloween party with an overnight stay was recently well received, and everyone cooks together on Fridays. The carol-singing campaign is again being carried out by the JUZ.
