Switching from WFH to WFO, Psychologists Recall Anxiety Disorders

Suara.com – The return of workers to work from office (WFO) make a psychological impact worry.

It should be noted that the Java-Bali region of Indonesia is entering PPKM level 3, which makes workers no longer work from home (WFH). The policy change has been in the spotlight of the General Chair of the Indonesian Association of Clinical Psychologists (IPK), Indria Laksmi Gamayanti.

According to Indria, changing habits from WFH to WFH for some people is not easy and even tends to have difficulty adapting.

“What needs to be done, in various ways, is to modify behavior, to become better able to adapt to the situation at hand,” explained Indria in a press conference at the 2020 IPK Indonesia IV National Congress, Thursday (25/11/2021).

Indria said that this adaptation process for some people must get the help of a psychologist, because they often feel worried.

“It turns out that there are also those who are anxious, there are still those who are indecisive, they have to return to their activities as before and this is an adjustment problem that needs help,” said Indria.
