Gustavo Petro criticizes the percentage of vaccination in the country

The senator and candidate for the Presidency of Colombia has demonstrated this afternoon (November 24) against the vaccination scheme implemented by the current Government. In his Twitter account, the senator has said that “political sectarianism does not allow society to benefit from complete immunity.”

His reaction came as a result of the recognition made by the scientific journal Nature to Cuban vaccines, where the Government’s management in the development of its own vaccine and the “fruits” obtained from its implementation stands out.

Also, in the tweet, Petro affirms that “the still low percentage of complete vaccination will lead us to another pandemic wave.”

It is not the first time that the senator criticizes the vaccination scheme, since in previous months, in his social networks, he also pointed out that the coronavirus vaccines supposedly do not “serve” to deal with the delta variant of the virus.
