To commemorate the 20 anniversary of the New York attacks on September 11, 2001, Mathieu Célariès, municipal councilor and defense correspondent for Réalmont offered a drawing competition to elementary school and college students. The drawings were displayed in the hall of the Town Hall and the public voted. Mathieu Célariès proclaimed the very close results of the consultation during a reception at the town hall. In his introductory remarks, he explained the choice of this commemoration “To pay homage to all these innocent people and these victims who were injured or killed. This allowed the children to learn a little more about this sad event and to take awareness of the terrible effects on our daily lives. ” Have been rewarded, for both elementary schools : 1st Louise Trenti, 2nd Elia Grèzes, 3rd Diego Koc. For the middle School : 1st Candide Teste, 2nd trio Eva, Yohan and Théo, 3rd duo Océane and Eva.
