Freundin and kununu, Europe’s largest employer rating platform, have called on employees to rate their employers according to family-friendliness. The employees were able to rate their employers anonymously, with a special focus on the following family-friendliness categories: managerial behavior, work-life balance, equality, career / further training, salary / social benefits and dealing with colleagues 45+. In order to even qualify for the ranking, companies must offer the following benefits: flexible working hours, home office, childcare and company pension schemes. Every company that received at least 50 reviews and a kununu score of at least 3.5 was considered. In total, more than two million evaluations of over 200,000 German and Austrian companies were included in the study.
