Sinsheim (AP) – Bundesliga soccer club TSG 1899 Hoffenheim tightened its access rules for the upcoming home games. Against Eintracht Frankfurt (December 4) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (December 18), fans will be admitted according to the 2G-plus rule, as the club announced.
This means that those who have been vaccinated or recovered must also provide a negative test evidence. The new Corona regulation in Baden-Württemberg also provides for a reduction to 50 percent of the total capacity. At Hoffenheim that’s a little over 15,000 spectators.
Rapid tests (not older than 24 hours) and PCR tests (not older than 48 hours) are possible. Children up to the age of seven, regularly tested schoolchildren and people who cannot be vaccinated against the coronavirus for medical reasons are excluded from the change. In addition to the medical certificate, they must also present a negative rapid test.
