Florian Silbereisen: Hear the Christmas hit from his show now

This year too, fans don’t have to do without Florian Silbereisen’s “Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights”. On the eve of the first Advent (November 27th, 8:15 pm), the first presents the show to kick off the Christmas season. In addition to guests such as Andrea Berg, Andreas Gabalier, the Kelly Family and many more, the Sinfoglesia orchestra is also allowed to take the stage together with its composer Christoph Siemons. With their song “What if the night is really holy” they create a Christmas spirit that evening.

Last year, Sinfoglesia’s debut album “Das Versicherung” helped not only the musicians and the Cologne composer Christoph Siemons, but also the listeners through a difficult time. The second album “Der Aufbruch” again gives consolation and takes the listener into a world of moving sounds and hopeful words.

Christoph Siemons made a promise to God

It all started nine years ago: the producer Christoph Siemons made a promise to God. He would write a musical mass if he survived his life-threatening heart disease. After many weeks in the intensive care unit, he was able to launch his heart project Sinfoglesia.

Siemons found hope and strength in his faith and so it is only fitting that he would like to pass on this courage to live with the second album “Der Aufbruch”. His goal: to reach even more people with the emotional songs and to spread gratitude into the world. And no song is as suitable for it as “What if the night is really holy”. The song begins with silence – only the church bells ring and slowly get louder until the clear voice of singer Tabea Rebecca Scholdan sounds: goose bumps guaranteed.

Video shoot in Cologne Cathedral: This backdrop is inspiring

“We would all never be alone again, there could be peace in the world” – with these words the chorus of the song ends and gives the audience an indescribable feeling of togetherness. For such poignant words, of course, a breathtaking backdrop was needed. Nothing was better suited for the music video shoot than Cologne Cathedral: The high ceilings, empty pews and mystical atmosphere perfectly match the mood of this hopeful song.

If you can’t get enough of the unique music from Sinfoglesia, the can also buy the first album “The Promise” here.

However, Christoph Siemons makes it clear to FOCUS Online that music is for everyone, even if he has found his way back to God through his stroke of fate: “This time our message of hope is central, and this concern is really completely free of denominations”, he explains.

Sinfoglesia: The second album “Der Aufbruch” is pure emotion

But not only the Christmas song on the album is music that goes to the heart. The other 11 songs, including the anthem of thanks “Gratia” and the good-mood song “Gaudia”, give the audience a feeling of security, but also a sense of energy. And that’s exactly what multi-talent Siemons wants to spread with his songs. The same goes for the musicians in the orchestra. “The music of Sinfoglesia expresses so much emotion and leaves room to dream,” describes singer Tabea. “It’s an incredible feeling to stand in front of this orchestra and choir and to feel the energy of making music together,” she continues.

This is exactly what Sinfoglesia wants to convey to the world with her new album: “It’s just about being together that counts,” says Christoph Siemons. Especially currently an important message that you shouldn’t forget in everyday life.
