The Municipality of Cipolletti reported that reforestation tasks were carried out with the planting of more than 60 trees of different species in squares of the city such as Jorge Newbery, Millenium and Parque Rosauer.

In this regard, they detailed that the seedlings are made in the municipal nurseries located on the property of the Paseo Costero de la Isla Jordán.

“Different shrub species are planted and multiplied among which are maples, ash trees, garden plums, Chinese poplars, aguaribay, black and silver poplars. They are destined for replacement in the green spaces of the city, and delivery on demand for neighbors and local institutions, “they added.

They also mentioned that daily “municipal nurseries are maintained, which involves irrigation, fertilization, species reproduction and dismantling. The work is carried out by a team of 10 people belonging to the Secretariat of Public Services.”
About 60 trees of different species were replanted in three squares of the town.
As reported by the Green Spaces Directorate, the property is divided into two nurseries: 5 people work in nursery 1, 3 of whom are dedicated to planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning and a tractor driver dedicated to all tasks of land and an administrative.
While in Nursery 2 4 people work, all dedicated to planting, irrigation, fertilization, pruning, among others.
