Covid, 249 New Cases In Puglia, 47 Leccesi. 3 Deaths. Stable numbers in intensive care, but patients affected by the virus increase in dedicated Apulian wards

PUGLIA – The virus in Europe has already put intensive care in crisis. The first problems begin in the north. Instead in Puglia the situation seems under control, even if there is a 4% increase in hospitalized with COVID, to which is added the increase in positives. Nonetheless, in intensive care the situation continues to be calm. Today’s epidemiological bulletin, Tuesday 23 November 2021, highlights 249 new positives (yesterday they were 86), of which 47 are registered in the province of Lecce (yesterday 37). With 22,643 (15,017 yesterday) tests performed, the positive index rises to 1.1% compared to 0.57% yesterday.
Deaths are on the rise, which today are three: yesterday they were two.
Overall the hospitalized are 168 (yesterday 166),
while the currently positives rise from 3,922 to 3,948 (+26).
Of the 168 hospitalized, 151 (yesterday 149) are with symptoms, while 17 (yesterday 17) are in intensive care.
