West Ham and Tottenham compete for sizzling four-goal Portuguese star – EzAnime.net

Reports in Italy claim West Ham United and Tottenham are set to fight over young Braga striker Vitor Oliveira in the January transfer window.

The London duo have enjoyed contrasting fortunes so far this season. The Hammers rank fourth in the Premier League standings, proving that sixth place last season wasn’t a flash. The Spurs are seventh, four points behind their East End rivals.

The decision to appoint Nuno Espírito Santo as a manger it failed spectacularly. The Portuguese tactician has already been replaced by Antonio Conte.

And the Italian has been entrusted with the task of getting the best out of the players he has. Harry Kane has been struggling to find the net in the league.

While scoring regularly in Europe and for England, the Three Lions skipper has bagged just once in the top flight. Italian media CalcioMercato says Conte will be looking to add a striker to his ranks in the new one to help Kane.

But the Italian is not alone in lusting after the 21-year-old. West Ham boss David Moyes is still looking for a front man.

Michail Antonio continues to excel with the London Stadium team. The Jamaica international has found the net six times in the league.

He has also scored in the Europa League, but Moyes knows he needs reinforcements. West Ham is now an attractive prospect for any player.

And the Scotsman will hope he can use that to his advantage when recruiting. Oliveira has now appeared on his radar after his exploits this period.

Oliveira joins Origi on West Ham’s wish list

The Portugal Under-21 star has scored seven goals in just four starts in all competitions in 2021-2022. One of them has arrived in the Portuguese top flight and six in the Taca de Portugal (Portuguese Cup).

He scored the first four goals when his team beat Santa Clara 6-0 in the cup on Saturday. That display drew attention and saw media speculation about its future in overdrive.

Moyes has struggled to sign a replacement for Sebastien Haller. The Ivory Coast international joined Ajax last winter.

Many names have been proposed as possible replacements. Liverpool’s forgotten striker Divock Origi is among them.

Moyes is known to be a fan of the Belgian, who scored against West Ham when the capital’s team beat the Reds earlier this month. It has been spoken of Jarrod Bowen is involved in a deal by Origi.

But Moyes does not want to lose at the wheel of 24 years. So a move for Oliveira might make more sense in the winter window.
