Microsoft to build three data centers around Brussels for Azure – Computer – News

Microsoft wants to build a ‘data center region’ in Belgium for cloud services and secure storage. With the data centers, Belgian residents and companies should be able to access these services more quickly. The company provides few details about the location and size of the data centers.

When the data centers have to be built, does not say Microsoft. Nothing is known about the costs and revenues. By 2025, the data centers, like all Microsoft data centers, must use only energy from renewable sources. Microsoft has now announced 60 such data center regions worldwide.
