A member of the Illinois Democratic Party resigned after making a series of tweets in which she was criticized for stating in apparent mockery that the Christmas parade tragedy in Waukesha, Wisconsin, was a form of revenge for the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha.
Mary Lemanski, who was the social media director for the DuPage, Illinois Democratic Party, completed her resignation Monday morning, as confirmed by Anne Sommerkamp, the party’s executive director to Fox News in an email.
Lemanski’s resignation was confirmed by the DuPage Democrats account, publishing that the party service employee will not continue with the position.
