Aerial platform on cyclist ended up at Uitgeest: ‘Very bad accident’

A cyclist was injured this morning in Uitgeest (North Holland) by a detached aerial platform. The implement had become detached from the trailer behind a small lorry, which for unknown reasons had been parked on the Geesterweg.

The victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, a police spokesperson said. He speaks of ‘a very bad accident’.
