British singer Adele was offended by the attitude of Australian TV presenter Matt Dornan, who admitted in an interview with her that he had not listened to her new album, the Daily Mail reported.
It is noted that the singer agreed to a 30-minute video interview with the journalist, who flew from Australia to London for this. During the conversation, Dornan did not ask her a single question about the new CD, which came out the same day.
When the 33-year-old star asked the journalist what he thought of her album, he admitted that he had not listened to it. The offended Adele interrupted the interview and left. Her label Sony allegedly banned Dornan from publishing the record.
Australian Channel 7 claims that they spent about $ 1 million on the interrupted interview, which they cannot broadcast now, to organize the conversation with the star. As a result of the accident, Dornan was fired for two weeks.
Adele’s first album in six years, entitled “30”, was released on November 20 and includes 12 new songs. It is the fourth studio edition of the singer.
Adele has won several Grammys, Brits, American Music Awards and Oscars for the Bond song “007 Coordinates: Skyfall.”
