A car crashed into a crowd gathered for a Christmas parade in Waukesha (Wisconsin, United States) on Sunday. A first provisional assessment reports several dead and more than 20 injured.
Local officials said 11 adults and 12 children had been taken to hospital.
Initial findings show that a red SUV drove past a group of school musicians parading down the city’s main street.
Schools closed on Monday
The suspect vehicle has been found and an investigation is underway to find the perpetrator.
Schools will remain closed on Monday.
