Expedition member surprised by elimination in Expedition Robinson

The battle has now started and many expedition members are fighting hard against each other to keep their place on the island. On Sunday evening, viewers were able to see how Yuki, René, Britte and Anouk were in the danger zone and had to vote someone away. Jasmine has previously successfully won the immunity test and took the boat to winner’s island.

Although it looked for a while that the group wanted to vote Yuki or Anouk away, the program had a plot twist in store. René was voted out, much to his own surprise.

“Jan van Halst would say: a genius masterstroke. Biscuit of his own dough”, René then responds. When asked what exactly happened, he replies: “Apparently everything I had no knowledge of. That’s a shame, but I really enjoyed this expedition and I’m very happy that I spent these days with these people And I hope all three of them go very far.”

Afterwards, the comedian does not feel betrayed by his fellow islanders. “No not at all, if this is how it goes, then this is the end.”
