Super strong Chiefs have confirmed their rise to power against the Cowboys.

Kansas City Chiefs (7-4) – Dallas Cowboys (7-3) : 19-9
It was the big poster of this Sunday, a poster which promises to be particularly explosive between the Chiefs of Pat Mahomes and the Cowboys of Dak Prescott. But in the end, it was the Kansas City defense that stole the show from everyone.
Dak Prescott in the hard
Since the start of the season, the Cowboys’ offense – the NFL’s first in yards and points – has rarely been in great difficulty. And Kansas City’s defense – overall one of the most permeable in the league – doesn’t really seem to have the profile to slow it down despite the progress shown in recent weeks. But in front of their boiling hot audience, the Chiefs will quickly make life difficult for Dak Prescott.
Three sacks, a lost fumble, an interception, only three points scored in total, this is the offensive production of the Cowboys during the whole of the first half. Often under pressure and sometimes also showing a lack of precision, Prescott is struggling with the intensity of Chris Jones (3.5 sacks) and his defense teammates. If we except a big race by Tony Pollard (7 races, 50 YDS) in the first quarter, the Dallas attack is really stifled at Arrowhead Stadium.

In the Chiefs on the other hand, it doesn’t take long to find the right offensive rhythm. Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire – back from injury – shows up quickly (12 runs, 63 YDS, 1 TD), Tyreek Hill does damage very quickly (1 run, 33 YDS, 9 REC, 77 YDS), while receiver Byron Pringle also shines (1 REC, 37 YDS). Kansas City’s top three possessions? Travis Kelce touchdown (5 REC, 74 YDS, 1 TD on the ground), field goal, Edwards-Helaire touchdown. On the scoreboard, it gives Pat Mahomes 16-3 (23/37 passing, 260 YDS, 1 INT, 1 fumble lost).

The Chiefs too strong
Already without Amari Cooper, the Cowboys also attack the second half without another receiver, CeeDee Lamb. This makes it even more difficult for Dak Prescott. The Cowboys’ defense, however, gives a boost to the attack when it intercepts Mahomes after returning from the locker room, but the two teams are only exchanging field goals in the third quarter (19-6).
At the end of it, Prescott still begins to find his rhythm. If the Dallas attack is certainly one-dimensional, the running game being neglected, it is progressing well … until yet another sack of the untenable Chris Jones. The Cowboys must be satisfied with a new field goal and thus return to ten points (19-9). They will not be able to get closer to their opponent.
The end of the game is well managed by Kansas City. It runs, it turns the clock, and it sends the Dallas team on its own three-yard line with a nice punt. Clearly, it’s Chiefs Day, and not Cowboys Day at all. As a symbol, Dak Prescott (28/43 passing, 5 sacks suffered, 2 INT, 1 fumble lost) ended the game with a second interception in the last minutes.
