Saint Etienne. Thirty winegrowers at the Labor Exchange on November 27

One month after having organized its first spirits fair, the Cuiz’in sur cours team (the wine merchant of the Place Grenette) will be on the bridge again, on Saturday November 27, for the fourth edition of its wine market.

The first edition took place in November 2018, followed by two others in 2019 (there were none in 2020 because of the Covid). All of them were very successful, attracting between 2,000 and 3,000 visitors each time. “At one month of Christmas, it’s a meeting that pleases. Especially since the wines are sold at the price of the property. But what people especially like is being able to interact directly with the producers, ”emphasizes Piermic Fatet, the boss of Cuiz’in sur cours.

Wines from almost all regions

The fourth edition of this wine market will take place at the Labor Exchange, a stone’s throw from the new Mazerat halls. Provided with the glass which will be given to them at the entrance (on loan), visitors will be able to discover chardonnay, syrah, pinot noir, cinsault and others (more than 60 different grape varieties) from almost all regions of France: Burgundy, valley from Rhône, Champagne, Languedoc, Bordelais, Loire Valley …

In total, thirty producers will be present, who will present more than 150 wines. “We will also have the French representative of a Chilean winemaker. »There will also be organic and craft beers from a brewery in the South-West, as well as cuvées from La Vinifacture, the urban cellar that Piermic Fatet and his associates, Franck Delbreil and Alexis Robin, created in September 2020, from side of the Zenith.

Visitors can also dine at a charcuterie bar and an oyster bar. Here is a day that promises to be tasty.

Wine market, Saturday, November 27, 9 am to 7 pm non-stop. Free admission. www.cuizinsurcours.fr
