Solidarity and greed, such is the program offered by theFrench blood establishment (EFS) Reunion, this Sunday, November 21. Appointment is given at the Blue Bayou room at thePond-Salé les Hauts, on the occasion of the second edition of the “Don Gourmand“.
User-friendly collection and improved snacking
For’French blood establishment Reunion Island Indian Ocean, the objective of this exceptional fundraising is twofold: to give donors the opportunity to make this gesture of generosity on weekends, and to encourage people to make this civic gesture for the first time by offering a friendly fundraising with an improved snack.
A collaboration with the French Round Table
The EFS and the French Round Table have been collaborating throughout the national territory for nearly 13 years. La Table Ronde Française puts its commitment at the service of Blood Donation to make the general public aware of the importance of this civic gesture and to retain donors.
Donate blood to save lives
In the meeting, 120 blood donations are needed every day to meet the needs of patients. The level of collection from blood collections must be regular and constant to ensure self-sufficiency because the shelf life of blood products is limited: 7 days for platelets, 42 days for red blood cells.
