Farid Okbah Met Anies Baswedan 3 Days Before Detachment Arrested, Here’s The Legal Counsel

TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Power of law Farid Okbah, Ismar Syafruddin, admitted that his client had met with the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan, before being arrested Densus 88 Police Anti-terror.

According to Ismar, Ustaz Farid met Governor Anies, about 3 days before Farid was arrested Densus 88.

Ismar explained that Farid and Anies met at Farid’s house in Jatiasih, Bekasi, when Farid’s father-in-law died.

“When Ustaz Farid’s father-in-law died, it turned out that Pak AB (Anies Baswedan) and his mother were also present at the place,” said legal counsel, Ismar Syafruddin when confirmed, Saturday (20/11/2021).

As for in-laws Farid Okbah passed away on November 13, 2021.

At that time, Anies visited a funeral home close to the Jatiasih District Office, Bekasi, West Java.

“Indeed he died about a week ago, around Saturday if I’m not mistaken. Then Tuesday he was arrested,” he said.

He reaffirmed Farid Okbah not worthy of being called terrorist.

The reason is, he has met with a number of state officials such as President Joko Widodo.

“His meeting with RK (Ridwan Kamil), President Suharto, Mrs. Mega’s Hamzah Has Wapres? terrorist, “said Ismar.
