The book came out on Tuesday Amalia. The Dutch comedian Claudia de Breij wrote this book on the occasion of the eighteenth birthday of the Dutch crown princess Princess Amalia. In the summer of 2021, de Breij had several conversations with the Princess of Orange about her school days, her love for music and what the monarchy and her future role mean to her now. In a video on Instagram from Claudia, she and the princess look back on the entire process. There are, of course, also some interesting facts in the book. For example, Amalia seems to have a preference for German boys. According to the princess, they are more gallant and better mannered. King Albert and Queen Paola were received anything but warm on Monday during their arrival for the Te Deum at the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula in Brussels. The royal couple was whistled by about a hundred activists from four police unions. The activists protested against the revision of the end-of-career scheme for the police and out of dissatisfaction with a lack of resources for the police services. When Albert and Paola arrived, there were booing, whistles and fireworks. The royal couple did not care about all the noise.

While visiting Jordan, Prince Charles flew a batch of bottles of holy water from the Jordan River to the UK to use for future royal baptisms. The 73-year-old heir to the throne and his 74-year-old wife, the Duchess of Cornwall, were previously honored to dip their hands in the sacred river during their visit to the Middle East. The question now is whether one of these bottles is intended for Lilibet – the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan – whom he has not yet met.

On Sunday, former Princess Mako of Japan with her husband Kei Komuro at the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York to start a new life in America. The ex-princess gave up her royal titles to marry Kei, whom she met while studying, last month. Their departure from Japan has been compared to that of Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who also said goodbye to their titles and left for the United States.
