By returning to the old 1958 tax treaty between Luxembourg and France, much more favorable to tax households receiving income in both countries than the new system ratified in 2018 and applicable this year, the government has paved the way to a massive campaign to recalculate taxes. From his point of view, the “external” aid offered by the Vosges and Marne centers will not make it possible to win this time trial: “For a month, 1,000 files have been reprocessed by the Finance Center of Thionville. In detail, 400 files were finalized by agents from Thionville and the other 600 by colleagues from other departments. We will not be able to maintain this pace over time, ”judges the trade unionist without excluding a new day of strike after the one already observed on 12 October last.
