The sidekick of Eddy Lam and Eric Lacroix in charge of three-quarters is full of praise to describe his group of players born in 2006. “They are curious, involved, demanding, there is no star in the team in short, it is a pleasure for everyone to train these young people, “he compliments logically about his charges, the authors of a whirlwind start. 3 wins in 4 games, the calculations are simple with the Alamercery who are at the top of pool 6 with a total of 18 points. “It’s encouraging but too early to project and then we have no real objective for the moment, we will see well we do not put pressure on ourselves”, admits the coach of a falling pack of Castres , Montauban and Tarbes.
Learn in victory as in defeat
“We have a pool of 34 players with dual license elements evolving both with us but also with partner clubs such as Tournefeuille, La Saudrune or L’Isle-Jourdain”, details Jean-Bernard Béna who logically recovered the rising Gaudermen cadets, after a year and a half without playing. “We played two games last year and then everything stopped but honestly the young people are not lost because at Colomiers all the teams follow the same roadmap so the bridges between categories are simply made”, greets the technician despite a first recorded loss against Agen at home 0-25. A setback from which the young players of the club with the dove will inevitably learn lessons in order to come back stronger from the start of the return phase.
