Following a phone call, the firefighters engaged land and nautical resources on board and on the Garonne
The witness is categorical: he saw something advancing in the water from the quays, near the Bourse Maritime in Bordeaux. For him, it is a body. It may be a floating object, tree trunk or branch, like the Garonne carries it by the dozen. But there was room for doubt. The man immediately called for help.
Friday, November 19 around 4:15 am, the firefighters of the departmental fire and rescue service of the Gironde therefore engaged land and sea resources to search for the unidentified object. Their research, also carried out with a thermal camera, was unsuccessful.
Police were also called to the scene.
